NS-Cell Founder/ Inventor Micheal Yap with more than 35 years experience in the battery industry wondered one day, “why do battery contains toxic material and are short in use cycle”.
Coupled with the curiosity of what was being used in Space Exploration and Satellites some 30 years ago, he embarked on a journey of discovery, research, trial & error and finally had a breakthrough in 2006.
He emphasised in his research innovative raw materials that can be recycled and achieve sustainability and he found the raw material that is not only common, non toxic and also of low cost but most important of all is safety.
Next, he set out to Re-Engineer or in some cases Reverse Engineer how Nano Metal Hydrogen Cell can charge at 30C rate, generate, store and discharge at 50C rate.
The final mission and most challenging task was to figure out a very cost effective way to Mass Produce without the costly Clean Room, Controlled Environment, Expensive & Complicated Machinery that other Battery Industry faces today.
With last piece of puzzle in place, Micheal Yap managed to bring the cost down at par making it commercially viable.
